Checks are dispatched by three cron routes — /api/cron/listing-fast, listing-daily and listing-weekly — each running to a 50-second deadline under its own lease, forty targets at a time, four at once. A target that fails five times in a row pauses itself and raises an alert rather than hammering an endpoint that has stopped answering.
